In
the beginning God (whoever you want that to be) created Dub.......... |
| |
And the
Dub was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.
|
Then
God formed the Ministers Of Dub who resampled and remixed his work. And
they said, let there be bass: and there was bass. And God heard the bass,
that it was good:
Previously known as False Prophet, The Reverend Phildread and The Reverend
Matt Demon (ordained ministers at Universal
Church of Life) are now working under the pseudonym, Ministers
Of Dub.
"Plagiarism leads to change. We are not afraid of plagiarism.
We are not afraid of change".
Ministers of Dub have developed a style of their own, but, like all noticeable
musicians, they beg, steal and borrow from all types of influences: Dreadzone,
Transglobal Underground, Chemical Brothers, Korn, Marilyn Manson amongst
others all contribute to the overall sound of Ministers of Dub, combining
a fusion of reggae dub, copulating with hard guitar riffs and undulating
synths.
"Whether
intentional or not, our music is often of a political / spiritual nature.
You can't have one without the other".
